
What you need for the Baby Hospital Bag
When packing for the hospital on your first baby it can be so hard to know what to pack for a Baby! So here’s a list of what to bring in the baby bag, this list is subjective, it is just to a guide, you may want to add more or less, the choice is yours! ( I will cover what to bring in the Mother & labour bag next so keep an eye out). Happy packing!
Baby Bag for Hospital:
Baby Clothes:
- 8 Babygrows or sleep suits (in different sizes I.E. newborn 0-3, premature if you might go very early)
- 8 Vests (in different sizes I.E. newborn 0-3, premature if you might go very early)
- 1 Cardigan
- Newborn socks
- 1 Cardigan
- Pre washed bath towel
- Baby hats, mittens
- Bibs and Muslin cloths
- Outfit for going home
- Cellular blanket
- 2 Cot Sheets (optional)
- (wash all items in non bio detergent prior to packing them).
Baby items
- Nappies
- Cotton wool
- Baby wipes (technically you use water and cotton wool to change a newborn nappy but the wipes come in handy for cleaning up sick and other messy areas in in those days!)
- Nappy cream
- Soother (optional)
